6 months!
Six Months
Weight: 11 lbs. --- 0%
Height: 24.5in --- 10%
Head: 16in --- 6%
On March 7th Lily turned 6 months old! A half a year old, I can't believe it! I can't even describe how much I love her and how much joy she brings to our lives! She is at such a fun age, she is getting so smart! She rolls all over the place and can turn on a dime! She scootches on her tummy too, and can almost sit up by herself. She is always making everybody so happy, especially the strangers at the grocery store! Sometimes it freaks me out. She is the HAPPIEST baby I have ever met. You might think I am just bias, but really...she is one happy, smiley baby. I am so lucky!! At her 6 month check-up he said she is doing great, although she needs to GAIN WEIGHT. Dont we all wish we had the same problem. We now have to put more formula in with the water then it calls for so she can get more calories. She just is ALWAYS moving and so she burns more calories!! She also talks and talks which is fun. She hates to be left alone...and she doesnt sleep through the night. I was so excited for 6 months so I could wean her off getting up and eating, but the doctor said that since she is so little I still should get up with her so she can eat. Ahh! Its ok, I would do anything for her. I love her so much and am so thankful for her in my life!

Ogden!
So we have been really busy as of late! Let me tell you all that has been going on. So one day I am discussing with my best friend Erin Kay that it looks like Tyler and I will be in Logan for the summer because he got that Sheriff posistion and the other places just weren't hiring. There was only one last prospect, and that was Ogden. There were over 200 people that tested for this posistion, and they hired 8 new Police officers! I am VERY proud of Tyler for doing all of the tests and doing so well on all of them! So when he got the call that he got the job, they basically said you have two weeks and then you will be starting! So we found a wonderful apartment in West Haven and up and moved, just like that! I LOVE our new place! It has SO much room, much much more than I am used to! :) We got a new couch, TV, washer/dryer...not to mention we finally have a garbage disposal, a dishwasher, and TWO bathrooms! Oh and TWO walk in closets! Haha, I am in heaven! Tyler has been loving his new job! He is doing a Mini Academy these first two weeks and then he starts his Field Training with Officers for 14 weeks. That means he basically has a partner he drives around with and isn't on his own yet. He got his new walky radio thing and we have been listening to all of the police reports...holy cow it will be one interesting job! For example...last night somebody got stabbed with a pitch fork! Ummm scary/weird. He will be SO good at his job, and he has such a passion for it! At the end of the summer he will be starting more schooling to get his degree in Criminal Justice, and he is working on being a Detective! I am excited for this new life ahead of us!! I love Tyler SO much, and am so proud that he is pursuing his dreams!!! He has given me a wonderful life. :) And doesnt he look dang good in a uniform?!.

Logan
Right now I am packing up my little apartment that Tyler and I have lived in since we got married. It is really little, and Lilys basinett barely fits in our room with us! It is OLD, and I mean old. We get really weird smells from the girls cooking downstairs, and no matter how hard I scrub the sinks and tubs, they don't get clean! Despite all of these facts, I am going to miss this place. I feel like we have truly made it our little home. It has so many memories, not to mention it was SO cheap! Not only will I miss our little place, I will miss Logan. Maybe not the January/February months...but Logan is a great place to live! I am sure most of you have heard me complain about it, but thats only because its far away from my mom. In all honesty, it is a great place to be! I love the community, I love the library, I love the aquatic center, I love my gym, I love our play group, I love being an activity day leader, I love my friends here, I love LOVE my work, I love the summer here, I love the fall, I love the mountains, I love 1st dam and the ducks, I love Blue Bird, I LOVE Gossners Cheese Factory, I love Utah State University, I love the Logan Temple, I love the River Walk, I love laying in bed at night and looking at the huge lit up A out of my window, I love floating the canal, I love Ambassadors, I love.......oh my, I could go on and on. Needless to say, I am in a bit of a sad state right now. I hate change. I truly have been blessed here in Logan. I will miss it. We are now on to bigger and better things, but Logan will always hold a special place in my heart. Thanks to all of you who have made Logan such a special place! :)
