Tyler!

Ok so this Monday Tyler and I both started school! I have just this last semester, then I will graduate with my Bachelors in Family, Consumer, and Human Development with an Emphasis in Family and Community Service. Tyler started the Bridgerland POLICE ACADEMY!!! He has to wear a uniform to school everyday! And they had to buy matching work out clothes and everything. Tyler took the physically fit test the second day of class (running, jumping...stuff like that) and passed! I just thought he was so cute in his uniform, I had to take a picture of his first day of school!! He will be graduating in October, then there will be a Police Officer in the family!! It is so weird, but VERY exciting! :) Tyler still works full time, and then some, at ICON...then he goes to school at night. I am just so proud of him!!

Tyler is playing his XBOX game...weird...haha, but this is our new little set up! We got a cute fouton because it is the only thing that will fit up our curvy stairs! So, if any of you want to come and party with us and sleep on our fouton, you are more then welcome!! :)
I had to put this picture on because this whole blog has a 'Tyler' sort of theme. From work at Christmas they gave everybody a Turkey. Tyler was SO excited to cook this turkey!! He was so proud of it, and it tasted SO good! We have been eating turkey for the last two weeks...but it is still good :)
P.S. Tyler read this blog and said I missed the most important part. He cooked the turkey upside down so that the white meat was still moist. Yup, he is very proud.

Happy New Years!!!
For New Years Eve this year, Tyler and I went over to some of our good friends house and had a PARRRTAY!! There were so many of our good friends there that we don't get to see very often, it was so much fun! We played a lot of games, ate food, and celebrated!! Yahoo!
One of the things we did was the dance dance Wii thing! Oh my heck it is HILLARIOUS! You have to mirror what the people are doing on the screen. It is incredibly funny to watch. Here is some of the boys giving it a try :)

Everybody was suprised with Tylers moves! He was unstoppable...even by us girls! He was the best dancer of the night, and he just looked so cute doing it!

Here are some of us girls doing it....oh my heck, we were all sweating so bad by the end! Fun fun fun.
More dance moves...
Laura and I had a verrrry fun evening! Hahaha, good ol sparkling white grape juice stuff.

All of the girls of the party! Apparantly I am the alcoholic? Once again...sparkling apple juice stuff :)

This picture was right after we did our party poppers and celebrated the new year!!
And this picture of course was our NEW YEARS KISS!! It was our very first New Years kiss...I was in Ecuador last year burning dummies at this time!! Both years have been great. This whole year has been just wonderful starting off with Ecuador, doing school, getting married, and a whole lot in between!! Yahoo for 2009, and bring on 2010!!

CHRISTMAS!
I don't know why I didn't take hardly any pictures on Christmas Day! It was just busy I guess? So...Jordan, Tyler and I were sleeping snug in Jordans bed when...CUBBY, Ashley and Jonnys dog, jumped on us! Jonny and Ash came over to open up presents at 8 am. By the time we got upstairs my mom and dad were already up, so we didn't get to hear my dad say...'I don't think Santa came this year'. It was kind of sad, I missed hearing it. Haha. But we all opened presents. Tyler got a tool box, clothes, a shaver, football, DVD's, XBox game and stuff...and I got coats, clothes, books, DVD's, and I bought Jordans new phone! It was wonderful :) After that we went to Jeff and Heidi's for our annual Christmas breakfast. It is always so delicious, and fun to see what everybody got for Christmas! After that we went to Josh and Rach's to see what Addie got for Christmas. She is just so stinkin cute! After that we traveled to AF to our annual Christmas lunch with dads side. We visited at their house and then went to Joe and Melindas for dinner. It was a day jammed pack full with family, food, and fun! :) Just what we love. We are so thankful for the Christmas season, and the real meaning we celebrate this wonderful holiday.

CHRISTMAS EVE!!!
It was Tyler and I's first Christmas Eve together!! It was such a fun night! We drove down from Logan and started the traditions! Every Christmas Eve we all go to Tom and Julies and have yummy soup and treats. There is a picture of Braxton and Tyler...it was worse than pulling teeth to get either one of them to smile...GOOFBALLS! We wanted a picture to show how much they look alike! They are brothers! Of course we had to do some arm wrestling....doesn't that look intense? Beleive me, it was. Tyler kissed me under the mistletoe for the first time too...it was a season of firsts! Last Christmas he was in Cedar City while I was in South Jordan, and because of the Snow storm we couldn't see each other. This year was the best! :)

When we got home from Tom and Julies we had our very last chocolate out of our chocolate countdowns!! I have done this tradition for as long as I could remember, so Tyler and I are doing it now and will continue for our kids! I always love getting chocolate right before I go to bed. Tyler and I added a little tradition of our own, we have a Christmas story to read for the 25 days leading up until Christmas. They are the best stories! Usually I start to read them, and then Tyler always had to finish because I would end up crying. I am such a baby! :) So...after we ate our chocolates we did another tradition and opened one gift. We always get PJ's or something of that sort! This year Tyler and I both got robes, and both my parents and Jordan got PJ's as well! My dad was so cute in his PJ's, I wish I got a picture! They were, of course, Jimmy Johnson PJs. After the parentals went to bed...it was PARRRTAY time!! We played Ticket To Ride all night long, and around 2 in the morning we had corn dogs, pizza, and chimichangas (don't tell my mom and dad!) It was so much fun, I felt like a little kid again! Not that I wouldn't do that now...but anyway. Jordan wanted us to sleep in his bed like 'old times'...so the three of us got into Jordans bed and finally fell asleep! It was such a fun and memorable night!!

The weekend before Christmas Tyler and I were able to go to Cedar City to see his family for Christmas! We exchanged gifts, played games, ate pizza, and watched a movie. It was such a wonderful time! In the morning Tyler and I went out and he taught me how to milk a goat. I look beautiful in the morning, I know. Haha, anyway, I had never milked a goat before, it was fun!! Also, when we returned home we went and saw Avatar! Those are our 3-D glasses. It was such a good movie! I loved it! I wish that I could have my own avatar...

I have been making a lot of crafts lately! This one was probably my favorite. It is a magnetboard and magnets! This is a picture of our tree right before Christmas. It is such an exciting time!!

So...the other day Tyler was in the bedroom and he wasn't talking for a long time. I asked him what he was doing and he said it was a suprise for me. I could hear him cutting something...and then after a bit he popped out of the bedroom! This was his suprise for me...I thought that everybody should see his creativeness..:)
We went to Josh and Rachels and Addie showed us her princess dress that she dances in. She has another little tu tu that she gives you to put on so you cna dance with her. She had everybody up and dancing! Here she is with Nana and Josh...what a good daddy. I think this other picture is just hillarious. Papa let Addie paint his toe nails. He had black ones and pink ones...and he was just relaxing watching TV! What a fun night, Addie is getting so big!

After Halloween comes....Thanksgiving! Don't worry, I am getting to the present day of 2010! This was a way fun trip for Thanksgiving! We went to Cedar City with Tylers family.

We played Skip Bo with the family! I love it here...there is never a dull moment! Its always an exciting time :)
This is how Tyler and his brothers LOVE to spend their time. I thought this was the funniest picture! It truly captures the moment.
This was my personal favorite time...Tyler showed me how to do the manual 4-wheeler! We were zooming all around, it was so much fun!
Our family...reunited again. Oh how Tyler misses his dog Lucky.
This is Tylers littlest sister Natalie. I thought this was the funniest thing! She grabbed the huge leg and was diving right into it! It was almost bigger than her head!
After the festivities in Cedar City, Tyler had to go back to work in Logan. He was soooo nice, and he let me stay in St. George with my family!! My Granny, Aunt Jami, and Madre had a fun time making jewelry! We did it for a LONG time! I love spending time with 'the girls' :)
We also celebrated Brax's birthday...he is getting all grown up!
This is the CUTEST picture! Jordan was helping my Granny down the sand mountain....awww :)
Here we are taking a walk in Snow Canyon! It is so pretty there!! As you can see, it was pretty chilly as well! It was so much fun to spend some time in Cedar City and St. George with family! We are so blessed to have such wonderful family!!!

Halloween!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Ok...so I know Halloween was long ago, but I am making up some time! And I feel like these are very cute pictures that are worthy of 'the blog'...even if they are two months out of date.

For Halloween Ty and I made a quick trip to D.I. before driving to Joe and Melindas for our annual Halloween Bash! It really is one of my most favorite parties to go to! The whole family gets dressed up, there is games, food, and of course the money tree! I won a free pizza at Little Caesars! Not the $100 dollars...but I was ok with it :)

Here is the whole Fam!! Aren't we so cute.

We made some awesome cookies.

The men.

The women...minus my mom and Addie. I don't know where they were.

This final picture was at a friend Halloween Bash at Taunis!
